Satovi engleskog jezika

Class 6

The English teacher prepared the lesson, the native speaker is teaching. The native speaker comes to classes two times a week to practice English with the students.

INTRODUCTION

T: How was your weekend?
- great, boring, relaxing, fun
T: What did you do?
The emphasis is on repetition, saying full sentences and speaking.

MAIN PART:

Game: pronouns game
eg. If you don't have enough money, you can borrow mine.
     I gave her my phone number, and she gave me hers.
     My brother has got these pencils. They are his.

Teacher writes the possessive pronouns on the flipchart board.

Groups of 3: play the card game. teacher reads the sentences and the Ss choose the cards. The person who chose the right pronoun first, gets the point.

CONCLUSION

Finishing the speaking game.

Discipline: /counting/ if I get to zero (five-four-three-two-one-zero), you get a sad face.

INFANTIL / KINDERGARTEN ENGLISH CLASS (Age 5)

English teacher leads and prepares the lesson, the native speaker is the assistant in speaking with the students.

INTRODUCTION

1. Hello, how are you? song
2. TPR: My head, my nose, my eyes
3. Touch the colour: blue, yellow, orange
4. Everybody sleep, getu p, make the bed, shower, get dressed, eat breakfast
5. How is the weather today?
6. Flashcards: seasons, Today is… autumn
7. YouTube songs (The Singing Walrus):
a. numbers song (0-20)
b. days of the week
8. Dance: Baby Shark

Main part:

1. New vocabulary: runny nose, sore throat, a headache, measles, cough
2. speaking, repeating, practicing with flashcards
One teacher teaches new words, while the other disciplines the class (and / or helps)

Conclusion:

Table time: colour the worksheet (illnesses) with crayons and pencils
Ss put their work in the drawers, it is put in their collection which they take home after the school year or at half-term.

Idea for castagnets: cardboard and metal bottle caps craft – teaching musical instruments

Curriculum: general guidelines and rubrics for assessment, autonomy of the teacher

Class 5 

Intro:
How was your weekend? – relaxing
Do you play badminton? – No, I don't.
SS walk around and ask questions from the worksheet displayed on the board.

Special needs children are integrated.
